PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residential energy calculation method and a residential energy calculation system capable of: facilitating input operation of a user through improved simplicity and promptness; and calculating residential energy consumption amount in a house or energy consumption related information on the basis of the residential energy consumption with improved accuracy.SOLUTION: A residential energy calculation method, which obtains residential energy consumption (and energy consumption related information) on the basis of information entered into an input item and the information stored in storage means, allows types of household members to be entered into the input item. The residential energy calculation method: obtains household member behavioral information on the basis of living activities of respective household members entered into the input item; calculates the residential energy consumption (and the energy consumption related information) on the basis of the obtained household member behavioral information, each information entered into the input item and each information stored in the storage means; and displays the residential energy consumption (and the energy consumption related information) on display means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
