PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote the implementation of zero emission, while improving convenience of a user of an electric car and a resident.SOLUTION: A residential electric energy management device 100: receives an electric car cutoff signal showing that power supplied from an electric car is cut off, use electric energy information showing electric energy used in one or a plurality of electric apparatuses 150, and generated electric energy information showing generated electric energy; accumulates electric energy of each of the electric apparatuses shown by the use electric energy information according to reception of the electric car cutoff signal; calculates difference use electric energy showing electric energy that results from subtracting the accumulated electric energy from the generated electric energy shown by the generated electric energy information; compares electric energy stored in advance with the calculated difference use electric energy; and transmits a control signal instructing suppression of predetermined electric energy to the one or the plurality of electric apparatuses 150, when the electric energy stored in advance is less than the difference use electric energy.
