PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calculation method of a correction factor in fatigue evaluation of power plant heating and cooling operation excess event, in which a stress correction factor is multiplied by a stress intensity value determined by a design operation condition, and the value is corrected as a stress intensity value required for an actual operation condition, in which, a digitization method for digitizing a number of stress intensity cycle generation to the actual operation condition is generalized, and the fatigue use factor in each operation condition is correctly calculated, and the stress intensity to operation conditions which may occur, are compiled to a database, for calculating quickly the fatigue use factor.SOLUTION: The method comprises: a step 1 for considering a stress intensity correction factor in view of a characteristic of an actual operation condition to stress intensity determined for a design condition, for calculating stress intensity to the actual operation condition; a step 2 for deriving an excess state condition indicating a largest range in the calculated stress intensity; a step 3 for calculating alternate stress intensity; a step 4 for calculating an allowable repeat number; and a step 5 for dividing an actual operation cycle number in an allowable cycle number, for calculating the fatigue use factor.
