PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an experimental animal visual function evaluation device capable of evaluating whether or not an experimental animal visual perception function is normal.SOLUTION: The experimental animal visual function evaluation device includes: a cage 3 for housing an experimental animal 2; visual stimulus presentation means 4 for presenting different visual stimuli 41a and 41b at different positions respectively in a visual stimulus presentation area 31 provided in the cage 3; contact detection means 5 for detecting that the experimental animal 2 contacts any of the visual stimulus presentation positions; reward supply means 6 having a supply port 61 for supplying a reward to the experimental animal in a reward supply area 32; experimental animal detection means 7 for detecting that the experimental animal 2 approaches the supply port 61; an openable/closable partition member 8 for blocking the movement of the experimental animal 2 from the reward supply area 32 side to the visual stimulus presentation area 31 side in a state that the visual stimulus presentation positions are viewed from the reward supply area 32; and control means 10 for evaluating a visual function of the experimental animal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
