SOLUTION: A fixing assembly for fixing a liner of a curable lining material is disclosed, the curable lining material being of a liquid form to be applied on a metallic object provided with the fixing assembly. The fixing assembly includes: a slender fitting pin to be fitted on the metallic object at a first end part; a ferrule fitted on the first end part of the slender fitting pin; and a plurality of separated fixing fins connected to a second end part of the slender fitting pin, the fins extending outward in a radial direction with respect to the slender fixing pin. The ferrule includes a place holder part extending outward in the radial direction, configured to be held by a ferrule holder while being fitted on the metallic object on the first end part of the slender fitting pin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
