PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraoral massage effect evaluating method by which the effect of intraoral massage using an intraoral massage tool can be appropriately evaluated.SOLUTION: By an intraoral massage effect evaluating method, acid solution is either applied onto or injected into mucous membranes in the oral cavities of experimental animals thereby to give rise to ulcers; intraoral massage is done multiple times with an intraoral massage tool 1 equipped with an intraoral contact part 2 having a carbon molded body 21, followed by extraction and dyeing of tissues of the mucous membranes to observe the range in which a positive reaction of cell cycle-related protein or heat shock protein, and the regeneration reaction or defensive reaction to thermal stress of the mucous membranes is evaluated as the effect of the intraoral massage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
