PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to improve more the rise of a fatigue strength according to the hardness rise by plastic working.;SOLUTION: Disclosed is a treatment method for increasing the durability of steel structures, in which peening treatment is carried out on a weld toe section 11a of a welded section 11 in a steel structure by an ultrasonic peening apparatus 13 with the temperature of the weld toe section 11a being at least 100°C but less than 400°C, and the site subjected to peening treatment is slowly cooled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
