PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submarine prospecting device and a submarine prospecting method which can explore electric property under the seabed.;SOLUTION: A submarine prospecting device 1 includes a transmission loop 10 for generating an induced current, a transmission power source 20 which intercepts sending current after supplying sending current to the transmission loop 10, two or more potential measurement electrodes 30 placed around the transmission loop 10, and a measuring part 40 which measures transient response after interception of the sending current included in a temporal change of two potential difference of the potential measurement electrodes 30.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
