PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an in-wheel motor, along with the in-wheel motor equipped with the same, capable of preventing excessive rising of temperature of a magnet and capable of preventing demagnetization of the magnet without specially raising heat resistance of the magnet.SOLUTION: In a control device 60 of an outer rotor type in-wheel motor 1, the in-wheel motor 1 includes an annular rotor core which is a rotor, a magnet fixed to an inner peripheral surface side of the rotor core, an annular stator core which is a stator equipped with a coil, and a temperature sensor 30. The stator core is arranged on the inner peripheral surface side of the rotor core. The control device 60, based on a measurement value of the temperature sensor 30, controls a drive current electrified to the coil, for the magnet not to exceed a tolerable temperature.
