PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an HIV-1 reverse transcriptase activity inhibitor.;SOLUTION: Disclosed is 1. an HIV-1 reverse transcriptase activity inhibitor containing Brasenia schreberi Gmel. extract as an active ingredient; 2. the HIV-1 reverse transcriptase activity inhibitor in which Brasenia schreberi Gmel. extract contains at least one kind of gossypetin and hypolaetin 7-O-glucoside; and 3. the HIV-1 reverse transcriptase activity inhibitor containing derivatives of substituents at position 2 (R2) and position 7 (R1) of gossypetin and hypolaetin 7-O-glucoside as active ingredients.
