PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide repair work that prevents gas leakage from occurring again even when bending force or vibration is applied to a cable end after work.SOLUTION: A gas leakage repair tool for a connection lead tube 1 for communication cable comprises: a first elastic winding plate 3 wound around the outer periphery surface of a cable end in the vicinity of an end of the connection lead tube 1; a second elastic winding plate 4 integrally wound around the outer periphery surface of the end of the connection lead tube 1 and the outer periphery surface of the first elastic winding plate 3; and a squeezing tool 5 for squeezing the second elastic winding plate 4 at two places at a position on the end of the connection lead tube 1 on the outer periphery surface of the second elastic winding plate 4 and a position on the first elastic winding plate 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
