PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable non-destructive/contactless detection of oxygen concentration by using an oxygen sensor installed in an organic thin film solar battery constituent part on the assumption that water/oxygen will intrude into the organic thin film solar battery constituent part at any time, thereby enabling prediction of deterioration of element performance and repair of oxygen intrusion site.;SOLUTION: An organic thin film solar battery 10 is configured by a lower electrode layer 12, an organic thin film photoelectric conversion layer 13 and an upper electrode layer 14 which are laminated on a base material 11, an oxygen sensor 16 disposed away from and above the upper electrode layer 14 so as to confront the upper electrode layer 14, and a hollow sealing base material 17. A material 16a which varies in light emission intensity or color according to oxygen concentration and is dispersed in a matrix part 16b having high oxygen permeability is used in order to enable the oxygen sensor 16 to non-destructively detect the oxygen concentration of a solar battery constituent part sealed between the base material 11 and the sealing base material 17.
