PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for detecting a failure in photovoltaic power generation, and a photovoltaic power generation device, which are capable of easily detecting a small scale failure in a photovoltaic power generation array.;SOLUTION: A current-voltage characteristics acquisition part determines current-voltage characteristics of a PV array 1 from an output current of the PV array 1. An enlargement processing part 23 performs a processing for enlarging a change of the current-voltage characteristics determined by the current-voltage characteristics acquisition part.
