PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is not possible to detect a pedestrian existing in the periphery of a current location, and to notify a user of the existence of the pedestrian.;SOLUTION: The pedestrian detection system includes: terminal equipment for transmitting information identifying itself and information indicating the intensity of a received radio wave to three or more relay devices; the relay device for transmitting the radio wave to the terminal equipment, and for transmitting the received information identifying the terminal equipment, the received information indicating the radio wave and information indicating its own location to an in-vehicle device; and the in-vehicle device for acquiring information indicating the location of the terminal equipment to be identified by the information identifying the terminal equipment by using the received information identifying the terminal equipment, the received information indicating the intensity of the radio wave and information indicating the location of the relay device, and for outputting the information indicating the location of the terminal equipment.
