PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a biopolyester resin is provided to provide a biopolyester resin which is useful for manufacturing a binder polymer such as an emulsion coherence toner.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a biopolyester comprises a step of forming a macromer by conducting the esterification reaction between a resin acid and a biopolyol; and a step of obtaining a bio-resin by the condensation polymerization of the macromer and at least one diacid under the presence of a catalyst. The resin acid is selected from an abietic acid, a dehydroabietic acid, a neo-abietic acid, a palustric acid, and a levopimaric acid.
