PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emotion estimation device capable of estimating emotion for characters too with high efficiency, and capable of easily grasping the estimated position of emotion in the whole of emotion that can be taken on.;SOLUTION: An emotion estimation device has: means for determining, from the result of emotion evaluation for each of parts that may be included in an expression entity image, parts emotion value distribution for the parts concerning each part; means for determining, from the result of emotion evaluation for the expression entity image to analyzed, expression entity emotion value distribution for this expression entity image; means for calculating, assuming that the determined expression entity emotion value distribution is the result derived by superposing weighted parts emotion value distribution for the parts included in the expression entity image, an influence degree as a weight concerning each part included in the expression entity image to be analyzed; and means for calculating expression entity image distribution for the expression entity image to be estimated on the basis of parts emotion value distribution for each part included in this expression entity image and the influence degree calculated for each part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
