PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for obtaining the precipitation of genipap extract for obtaining a substance in polar and/or non-polar media for applications in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, textile, paint, varnish, and food compositions.;SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the process for obtaining the substances from genipap extract precipitates, comprising the steps of: (a) obtaining an extract from a genipap fruit; (b) adding a mordent to the extract obtained in (a), the mordent is polyvalent metal salts selected from AL, Fe, Zn, Cu, Ca, Ba, Mg, Mn, Sb, Sn and Sr, and/or a natural substrate comprising compounds derived from gallic acid, preferably tannin; and (c) separating the solid substances precipitated in step (b). obtaining an extract from a genipap fruit by grinding the fruit under high rotation in the (a), separating the extract from the fruit, followed by cooling and filtering, semi-purifying the raw extract and qualifying non-dyeing compounds, standardizing the extract by adding primary amino acids and heating the filtrate up to temperatures in the range of 50 to 95°C, for a time that may range from 30 minutes to 5 hours.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
