PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for predicting success/failure of cutoff of a gas circuit breaker upon a short-range line failure or the like, with less calculation cost and high analysis accuracy.;SOLUTION: A performance evaluation device for a circuit breaker includes: a high dimensional analysis section 12 for performing high dimensional arithmetic processing in which an internal phenomenon of a gas circuit breaker is analyzed; a low dimensional analysis section 14 for performing low dimensional arithmetic processing in which a circuit phenomenon including a gas circuit breaker is analyzed; and a parameter calculation section 13 for calculating at least one among parameters used in the arithmetic processing in the low dimensional analysis section 14 on the basis of a specific parameter determined in the high dimensional analysis section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
