PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-log cause-and-effect estimation technology considering that the lag change between logs is variable.;SOLUTION: A log analyzer 100 estimates the causal relationship between logs on the basis of time sequence logs of a plurality of resources acquired from a monitoring object system group 200. The log analyzer includes: an inter-log cause-and-effect estimation unit 120 that measures the lag of the spike generation time between two logs, and estimates the direction and intensity of the cause and effect between two logs on the basis of the number of positive lags and the number of negative lags with reference to one log of the two logs; and a system abnormality detection unit 130 based on the cause and effect for detecting an abnormality of the whole system on the basis of the estimated cause and effect between the logs.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
