PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a list of blanks to reduce operation costs related to a commercial CAD/CAM system by solving a problem wherein technical necessity exists for giving interchangeability to blanks, maximizing the amount of production per blank, and reducing material waste to maximize the versatility of a system, the selection of material and work efficiency.SOLUTION: A cluster mill blank includes a framework 18 configured to cooperate with a blank holder of an existing CAD/CAM system, and a plurality of sub-blanks 16 attached to the framework to form an addressable matrix or cluster blank 10. A CAD/CAM system including the framework, and an associated method are described.
