PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform proper evaluation of an application by excluding influence of unauthorized operations.;SOLUTION: An information processing device 300 downloads a desired application from a providing server 100 and installs the application in a file storage unit 340. When a user gives a start instruction for using the desired application, a program execution unit 350 develops a start target program on a memory 360 to execute the start target program. The memory 360 records log information LOG indicating the start time and termination time of each program. A use result collection reporting unit 330 reports the log information LOG to an evaluation server 200. The evaluation server 200 analyzes the pieces of log information collected from many information processing devices 300, totalizes the number of users, the number of times of start-ups, a cumulative use time, etc. for each application, and presents the totalization results as evaluation indexes.
