PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress liquid immersion into a mechanism mounting space and easily fix a guard member without exposing a screw member to a back portion of a reel body.;SOLUTION: A reel body 2 includes a casing part 2a having: a mechanism mounting space 2d opened in a side portion; a first communication portion 30 opened in a front edge portion and communicating with the mechanism mounting space 2d; and a second communication portion 31 arranged on an opposite side of the first communication portion 30 and communicating with the mechanism mounting portion 2d and opened in a rear edge portion. A guard member 26 has a boss portion 26a that can be inserted into the second communication portion 31 from the rear edge portion of the casing part 2a. A cylindrical member 25 is arranged inside the mechanism mounting space 2d in a position between the first communication portion 30 and the second communication portion 31. A gap between the cylindrical member 25 and the first communication portion 30 is sealed by a first seal member 29, and a gap between the cylindrical member 25 and the second communication portion 31 is sealed by a second seal member 29.
