PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ice seeding means not requiring separate complicated procedures in cryopreservation of sperms or fertilized eggs and also capable of forming ice crystal with high certainty.;SOLUTION: A straw tube A is provided, in which: a solution containing sperms/fertilized eggs is housed inside a hollow part 2; a plug part 1 formed on one end A1 side comprises three layers which are an inner plug 11, a powder layer 12 and an outer plug 13 arranged in this order from the hollow part 2 side; the powder layer is formed of mixed powder containing hygroscopic coagulating material powder and an ice nucleus substance. The ice nucleus substance contained in advance in the plug part 1 of the straw tube functions as an ice nucleus, and when freezing the sperms/fertilized eggs, an operator can perform ice seeding automatically without performing separate complicated procedures but only performing the conventional freezing procedures. Further, the ice nucleus substance is retained at a position that comes into contact with the solution containing the sperms or fertilized eggs inside the straw tube before performing seeding of the ice nucleus, thereby the ice crystal can be formed with high accuracy and certainty.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
