Spleen dilution preserved for swine artificial insetion

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preserving material of diluted semen for pig artificial insemination and a preservation method of diluted semen, with which not only preservability of semen is improved but also the amount of semen usage is reduced for the purpose of cost compression by reducing the number of boars in pig artificial insemination seed, and to provide an artificial insemination method using the same.;SOLUTION: The preserving material of diluted semen, in which L-carnitine is included and the other components are also prepared by only components recognized as a food or a food additive by the food sanitation law, is found out. The preserving material of diluted semen maintains preservability equivalent to or superior to the conventional one, is excellent in movability and especially in straight advancing property of a sperm, makes it possible to reduce the number of sperm at a time of artificial insemination by being used for pig artificial insemination, and is effective in cost reduction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
