PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element having oxide semiconductor fine particles sensitized with a highly practical organic dye, which can efficiently generate power in a wide wavelength region, and to provide an organic dye compound used for the same.SOLUTION: A triphenylamine-bound dibenzopyrromethene-based compound is represented by formula (1) below. (n1 and n2 each are an integer of 1 to 5; M is a semimetal atom; Yto Yeach are H or an aromatic residue; Zand Zeach are a halogen atom; Arand Areach are an aromatic ring; Aand Aeach are a carboxyl group or a cyano group and the like; Ato Aeach are H or an aliphatic hydrocarbon residue and the like; one of Aand Ais a triphenylamine structure-containing group and the other is H and the like; and Qand Qeach are S, O, or Se.)SELECTED DRAWING: None
