PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet light-emitting diode which emits light stably over a long period of time.SOLUTION: An ultraviolet light-emitting diode of a particular wavelength is sealed with an organic-inorganic hybrid polymer produced by hardening, by heat, a composition including an organic-inorganic hybrid prepolymer (C). (C) is an organic-inorganic hybrid prepolymer resulting from a condensation reaction of (A) and at least one compound (B) selected from a group consisting of (B-1), (B-2) and (B-3), in which the content of an aromatic hydrocarbon based solvent is 50 ppm or less to the compound (A). (A) is polydimethylsiloxane having a silanol group at each of terminals thereof, Mn of which is 10,000-100,000 and Mw/Mn is 1.3 or less. (B-1) is an oligomer of tetraalkoxysilane. (B-2) is a hydrolysate resulting from all or part hydrolysis of alkoxy groups that the compound (B-1) has. (B-3) is a product of a condensation reaction between the compounds (B-2) and (B-2) or between the compounds (B-2) and (B-1).
