PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To come and go between adjacent stairways mainly during a construction period through an intermediate part between layers (floors), in a crossing stairway for which a plurality of straight type stairways disposed between floors of different layers (floors) cross each other while being adjacent in a width direction.SOLUTION: In a crossing stairway 1 for which a plurality of straight type stairways 21 and 22 disposed between the floors of different layers facing each other across a space on a plane cross each other on an elevation plane which are adjacent in the width direction, both intermediate parts in the length direction of the two adjacent stairways 21 and 22 are crossed with each other and the stairways 21 and 22 are communicated in the width direction in the crossing section.
