PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal compound from which such a polarized light emitting film can be easily produced that has excellent polarized light emitting property and suppresses reduction in the polarized light emitting property even in a high temperature and high humidity environment, a polarized light emitting film and a wavelength conversion member produced by using the liquid crystal compound, and a production method of the wavelength conversion member.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal composition of the present invention comprises: a plurality of quantum rods excited by incident excitation light to emit fluorescent light; and a side chain polymer liquid crystal compound having a crosslinking group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
