Device for correcting the shape and duration of the current pulses generated, in light detectors such as photomultipliers, by single photons produced by low emission light sources such as reactions of chemiluminescent type, said device being able to reduce the time duration of the single pulse, maximise the count frequency of the photomultipliers, increase the plate resistance value in order to protect the photomultipliers from possible damage caused by excess light, and ensure impedance matching towards the coaxial connection line.
