PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give assistance so as to perform such operation arrangement that causes a train traffic control company to incur only a limited loss in the case where train services are disrupted.;SOLUTION: An operation arrangement assistance system includes: a loss management database in which a loss value which a delay of a train imposes on a train traffic control company is stored in advance on the basis of plural predetermined indices including at least a type of train, a delay time, and a traffic volume; an operation arrangement proposal arithmetic unit that performs arithmetic operation to produce at least one operation arrangement proposal on the basis of a current train service plan; an operation arrangement proposal assessment unit that calculates a loss value of the operation arrangement proposal produced by the operation arrangement proposal arithmetic unit on the basis of the loss management database; and an operation arrangement proposal presentation unit that presents the operation arrangement proposal and the loss value in association with each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
