PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a current control program to an updated control program in a state that a ticket examination task is continued without being accompanied by processing of restart.;SOLUTION: An automatic ticket gate includes a function for, when receiving a switching instruction signal (CS), switching program processing following the control program of a control part in operation to program processing following the control program of the control part on standby under such conditions that the control part in operation is not under processing as a processing state inside the automatic ticket gate, and that there does not exist any user in a ticket examination passage and its neighborhood as a user trend state outside the automatic ticket gate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
