PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium-air secondary battery which can be charged and discharged reversibly, and which has stability, a large capacity, and a high rate characteristic.SOLUTION: The lithium-air secondary battery comprises: a negative electrode including a negative electrode material used for a lithium ion secondary battery; an electrolytic layer including an electrolyte consisting of a nonaqueous ionic liquid which is electrochemically stable, non-volatile, and insoluble in water, and a lithium salt added thereto; and an air electrode of ionic gel form including fine bores. The air electrode is prepared by mixing carbon nanotube, graphene or graphite sheet powder in a fixed ratio within a range of 1-50 wt.% to ionic liquid, dispersing the mixture by ultrasonic wave, performing abrasion and centrifugal separation on the resultant mixture, and drying the resultant product.
