PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair work method for a sedimentation basin that prevents a decrease in operation efficiency of the sedimentation basin in repair work for the sedimentation basin as much as possible.;SOLUTION: There is provided a repair work method for a sedimentation basin constituted by arranging many basins b1, b2, ..., along a flow direction of raw water of an aqueduct (a) adjacently to the aqueduct (a), The repair work method including: installing temporary cut-off walls 10a, 10b which block the water flow of the aqueduct (a) on an upstream side and a downstream side of the aqueduct (a) corresponding to the basin b2 as an object of repair work among the many basins; then releasing water from the inside of the aqueduct (a) between those temporary cut-off walls 10a, 10b and the basin b2 as the object of the repair work; and carrying out the repair work while opening a communication pipe 30 provided between those temporary cut-off walls 10a, 10b and thus supplying the raw water to the basin b1 located downstream from the basin b2 as the object of repair work.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
