PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium conveyance mechanism capable of surely and well-balancedly holding and lifting a medium having a center hole with the inner circumferential surface of the center hole, and a medium processor provided with the medium conveyance mechanism.;SOLUTION: A medium conveyance mechanism 31 is a mechanism which holds a medium M by inserting at least three holding pawls 141 to 143 provided in a holding part 132 into a center hole Ma of the medium M of a holding object, expanding the holding pawls 141 to 143 in a radial direction and pressing the holding pawls on an inner circumferential surface Mb of the center hole Ma.
