PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method that enables heavy metal components to be promptly removed from heavy metal-contaminated water so that the concentration of the heavy metal components becomes a criterion value or less.SOLUTION: A heavy metal-contaminated water treatment method includes a process in which the heavy metal-contaminated water is brought into contact with calcium polysulfide and polysilicate-iron, and heavy metal components are removed from the contaminated water. According to the heavy metal-contaminated water treatment method, these heavy metal components can be removed to an extent from a high concentration to a very low concentration from the heavy metal-contaminated water, and by-production of a noxious gas during the treatment can be avoided. In addition, according to a heavy metal-contaminated solid-shaped object treatment method including the heavy metal-contaminated water treatment method as one process, the heavy metal components can be efficiently removed from contaminated soil or the like including heavy metals.
