PURPOSE: A filtration method of heavy metal contamination effluent using a natural adsorbent made with Macroalgae is provided to environment-friendly the effluent with organism, and to lower costs of operation of a wastewater disposal facility with cheap costs of the adsorbent. CONSTITUTION: A filtration method of heavy metal contamination effluent comprises the following steps: washing macroalgae with distilled water and hot-air drying in 50~100C; making dried macroalgae to a powdered state of 30~70 mesh; throwing marine algae powder(52a) by a rate of 0.1~3 weight% compared to weight of the effluent in the effluent polluted by heavy metals including arsenic; separating effluent into sludge and water by using a filter device or a cyclone separation device; and discharging only the purified water to the outside. The macroalgae is Pachymeniopsis sp.
