PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for C2 oxygen compound synthesis, enabling a C2 oxygen compound to be synthesized from a gaseous mixture including hydrogen and carbon monoxide.;SOLUTION: The catalyst for C2 oxygen compound synthesis enables the C2 oxygen compound to be synthesized from a gaseous mixture including hydrogen and carbon monoxide. The catalyst contains: (A) a component of rhodium; (B) a component of manganese; (C) a component of alkali metal; (D) a component of one or more kinds elements selected from a group consisting of elements belonging to the group 2 of the periodic table; and (E) a component of one or more kinds of elements selected from a group consisting of elements belonging to the groups 4-6 and 13 of the periodic table.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
