PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evaluating the contamination of a cooling water line in a refrigerating system capable of determining the contamination of the cooling water line of the refrigerating system in a short time.;SOLUTION: In the refrigerating system having a compression type refrigerating machine including a compressor 2, a condenser 3 and an evaporator 5, or an absorption type refrigerating machine having a regenerator 11, a condenser 12, an evaporator 13 and an absorber 14, the contamination of the cooling water line for circulating the cooling water to the condensers 3, 12 is evaluated. A consumed energy index value of the refrigerating system before and after the cleaning of the cooling water line at a high load or a steady operation, and a load of the evaporator or the condenser before and after the cleaning of the cooling water are measured, and the contamination of the cooling water line is evaluated on the basis of a result of the measurement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
