PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dead leaf guard which prevents reduction in drainage efficiency of a gutter water collector and keeps the bottom wall surface of the gutter water collector from grime, even when dead leaves flow into the gutter water collector.;SOLUTION: A dead leaf guard 1 to be installed at a gutter water collector 3 having a bottom wall part 10 sinking downward from the bottom plate 4 of an eaves gutter 2, a side wall part 11 rising from the bottom wall part 10, and a rainwater chute 14 at the bottom wall part 10 includes: a cage-shaped member 20 having a plurality of openings for allowing rainwater to flow in and keeping dead leaves from entering in, which is installed so as to surround the upper side of the chute 14; and a plate-shaped member 21 having a plurality of openings for allowing rainwater to flow down and keeping dead leaves from entering in, which is installed opposite to the bottom wall part 10 of the gutter water collector 3 across a gap 41.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
