Bispecific molecules that are immunoreactive with antigens expressed by immune effector cells and virus-infected cells that express activated receptors and uses thereof

The present invention relates to bispecific molecules that can localize immune effector cells that express activating receptors in virally infected cells and thereby promote the killing of virally infected cells. In preferred embodiments, such localization uses a bispecific molecule that is immunoreactive with both an activated receptor of immune effector cells and an epitope of an antigen expressed by a virus-infected cell. In this case, the antigen is detectably present on the virus-infected cell at a level higher than that of the antigen detected by the bispecific molecule on the virus.
