PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual acuity evaluation apparatus capable of performing a precise and easy evaluation about a visual function.SOLUTION: A visual acuity evaluation apparatus includes: a test result information storage unit 10 in which a plurality of pieces of test result information indicating the results of a subject's visual acuity test performed in regard to a plurality of targets corresponding to a plurality of visual acuity evaluation values and having the visual acuity evaluation values and a percentage of correct answers for the plurality of targets corresponding to the visual acuity evaluation values are to be stored; a coefficient acquisition unit 12 which acquires a coefficient of a probability-of-seeing curve indicating a relationship between the percentage of correct answers and the visual acuity evaluation values included in the plurality of pieces of test result information; an evaluation value acquisition unit 14 which acquires the subject's visual acuity evaluation value by using the coefficient of the probability-of-seeing curve; and an output unit 15 which outputs the subject's visual acuity evaluation value acquired by the evaluation value acquisition unit 14.
