PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower abdomen safety protector for a catcher, preventing a ball from directly hitting the catcher's lower abdomen because of a foul tip, etc. without hindering any motion of the catcher on the play, and preventing injury by simply and easily protecting the catcher's lower abdomen and improving the safety.;SOLUTION: A center protector 10 is formed in such a shape as to swell forward to cover the front side of the lower abdomen, so that the distance to the lower abdomen can be sufficiently secured. The safety protector includes an adjuster belt 5 so that the protector can be easily attached. The adjuster belt 5 has a quick release 8 and an adjuster 9, so that the lower abdomen safety protector can be attached/detached with the quick release 8, and the length of the adjuster belt 5 can be changed by the adjuster 9. As the divided type lower abdomen safety protector has an increased number of components, the impact can be dispersed to the respective components, and the safety can be further improved.
