PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spot application device which allows for concurrent spot application of a sample to a plurality of objects to be applied with excellent handleability, and a spot application method.;SOLUTION: A spot application device 1 includes a plate body 10, a main flow channel 11 in an open top groove shape formed on the surface of the plate body 10, a plurality of capillary flow channels 12 branched from the main flow channel 11, and a spot application nozzle part 15 which communicates with the leading end 12a of each the capillary flow channels 12. A sample fed to the main flow channel 11 of the plate body 10 in an approximately horizontal sample feeding position is sucked into the capillary flow channel 12 with capillary force.
