Disclosed is a budesonide-containing solution that is stable for long-term storage. The solution can include budesonide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, cromolyn sodium, an antioxidant, benzoic acid, and a pharmaceutically acceptable fluid containing propylene glycol and water. Also disclosed are kits containing budesonide-containing solutions that are stable for long-term storage and methods for treating ulcerative colitis. [Selection figure] None
