PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method, which enable efficient accumulation of sediment in a dam.;SOLUTION: In a method for accumulating dam sediment, a winch installed on land imparts a moving force to an accumulation body 1, which comprises a long steel material and the like, so that the accumulation body 1 can slide on the bottom of a dam lake. When movement of the accumulation body 1 is hindered, a hindrance to the movement is avoided by imparting buoyancy to the accumulation body 1 by a buoyancy adjustment body and making the accumulation body 1 float up.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
