PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strain insulator support device capable of supporting a strain insulator which extends out of a steel crossarm and capable of being easily removed from the strain insulator.;SOLUTION: The strain insulator support device supports a strain insulator which is attached to a steel crossarm extending out of a utility pole in a direction crossing the axial line of the utility pole when connecting to the power line. The strain insulator support device includes: a placement part for placing the strain insulator; a fixing part which is fixed to the steel crossarm; and a connection part for connecting the placement part and the fixing part. The placement part is arranged so as to change, in a state that the fixing part is fixed to the steel crossarm, between an available state in which the strain insulator may be placed in a crossing direction with respect to the axial line of the utility pole and an extending direction of the steel crossarm and a separated state in which the placement part is separated downward from the strain insulator which is connected to the steel crossarm and power line.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
