PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawer falling prevention mechanism and a drawer falling prevention member for preventing the falling of a drawer from a storage container.SOLUTION: A drawer falling prevention mechanism includes: a support surface 14 disposed at the upper part of a drawer; and a drawer falling prevention member 15 disposed at the lower part of the support surface. The drawer falling prevention member includes: an arm 154 for locking extended toward the internal side face of a storage container and an arm 153 for operation extended toward the front side of the drawer. The drawer has a notch part through which the arm for locking is put on the side face. The storage container is formed with a bent part 122 to be engaged with a hook part 155 formed at the top end of the arm for locking at the edge of an opening. The arm for locking has a structure in which the hook part is engaged with the bent part when the drawer is laid at a drawing position.
