PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a falling prevention device and a winch device using the falling prevention device, capable of performing work for hoisting up and hoisting down a load between a high place and a low place on the ground, which is superior in workability and safety.;SOLUTION: A falling prevention device 1 for a rope for lifting consisting of a pedestal 9, a drum body 2, and a stopper 7, is disposed in the side of a low place. A pulley 12 is disposed in the side of a high place. A rope for lifting 11 is set to the stopper 7 and the drum body 2. When the rope for lifting is operated at a position distant from a position right under a lifted load, a winch device hoists up and hoists down a load 13. The stopper 7 consists of a fixed link 16, two rotary links 15 having a stopper claw 8, and a rope holding member 14 for inserting the rope. When the rope for lifting 11 is loosed, a braking is applied by the stopper 7 of the falling prevention device, so that the falling of the lifted load is prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
