PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a measurement result of sA1c reflecting symptoms of a subject who provides a blood sample containing hemoglobin E by excluding an influence by abnormal hemoglobin E when the blood sample is measured by positive ion exchange chromatography.SOLUTION: The above problem is solved by a method for measuring ratio (%) of sA1c for calculating, when a peak derived from abnormal hemoglobin E is identified, the area of the peak, and correcting the peak area of sA1c or the peak area of the whole hemoglobin by using its calculation result to measure the ratio (%) of sA1c.
