Method for evaluating the effects of chemical substances on the living body

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To settle the problems that neurotoxicity is hard to precisely comprehend for the sensory abnormality of an experimental animal and, as often accompanying no morphological change, is difficult in evaluation.SOLUTION: Since in vivo changes in gene expressions due to changes in external environments are acute, the identification of a gene set for determining biotoxicity makes it possible to quickly and precisely detect biotoxicity before the biotoxicity takes place and before it is verified by a pathological examination. A method of detecting and predicting biotoxicity by using the new gene set, its kit, a method of treating biotoxicity, and a method of confirming candidate drugs for biotoxicity are provided.
